EXECUTIVE & OTHER EXPERIENCE

2004 – to date    Currently l am the Managing Director of Prolong K Ltd a family business involved in international sourcing & supplying of assorted goods and services from all over the world, based in Mombasa.

2000 – 2004    l Migrated to Australia and started my own Tea and Coffee packaging company known as Treasures of Africa. We were importing, roasting and packaging  Kenyan Tea and Coffee in Melbourne, Australia.

1994 – 2000   Started my own Freight Forwarding Company Master Conveyors Limited. Through hard work, the company grew to one of the most efficient and reputable freight logistics company in Kenya in particular and the region in general. We later sold it as a going concern.

1981-1994 l Worked for the Central Bank of Kenya. During this period I managed to study for my Diploma in Banking at the Kenya Polytechnic while at the same time working. I gained very useful experience from this very noble institution and attended numerous Management courses.In 1994, l resigned on my own accord to join the private sector.

FURTHER WORK EXPERIENCE

During my many years in business, I learned a lot and have identified areas of business in our country that need to be improved in order to effect modern and efficient systems of doing business.  I am particularly interested in seeing a semblance of order in our counties, professionalism in our approach to business dealings, proactive support by the Government in ensuring that Kenyans have an enabling atmosphere of doing business.  While some of this is beginning to happen we still are a long way to go. Service delivery is another wanting area in both the private and public sectors. I have lived with and experienced efficient systems of delivering service and would be happy to participate in this very noble service of ensuring Kenyans enjoy efficient and systemized services.

In my quest to follow my passion and seeing that Kenyans are not left out of the Information Technology age hence my interest l, started Mastrade Holdings Ltd.

A company involved in telecommunication and data services operating a Safaricom dealership.
