James Mureu

Mr. James Mureu is the Managing Partner of JNM Consultants; the Managing Director of Prolong K Ltd; the President of the Union of African Private Sector Organisation Ltd (UOAPSOL); the Executive Chairman of Afrinol Holdings Ltd and; the chairman of the Economic Diplomacy committee of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and the Pan African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PACCI).

Mr. Mureu is also the Chairman of the Micro & Small Enterprises Authority and also sits in he National Cereals & Produce Board. Previously, he served as  the Joint Business Councils of Kenya/Nigeria and Kenya/Algeria and is also a past board member of the Business Registration Services (BRS).

2000 – 2004: Founder, Treasures of Africa (Melbourne, Australia) – Tea and coffee packaging company, importing, roasting, and packaging premium Kenyan tea and coffee.

1994 – 2000: Founder, Master Conveyors Ltd – A successful freight forwarding and logistics company in Kenya, later sold as a going concern.

1981 – 1994: Central Bank of Kenya – Held various roles, gaining extensive experience in banking and finance while concurrently pursuing a Diploma in Banking.
